Industry overview
AI consulting for early-stage ventures is the advisory and prototyping work that helps founders identify where AI genuinely improves their product, which model and architecture fits their data constraints, and how to build a defensible AI capability rather than a bolted-on feature.
At a glance
Founders face two failure modes with AI: building AI features because they feel expected, not because they solve a real problem; or correctly identifying an AI opportunity but picking the wrong architecture for their data volume and latency requirements. We help early-stage startups navigate both. An engagement begins with a two-week discovery: we interview users, map the product data flows, and identify the two or three points where an AI intervention would meaningfully change the product outcome. We then build a working proof of concept for the highest-priority use case.
The discovery phase produces an AI opportunity map: a ranked list of potential AI features with estimated complexity, data requirements, and expected impact on the core product metric. From this, we agree on one use case to prototype. The prototype is a functional implementation — not a slide deck — integrated into your staging environment. It includes a model evaluation framework so you can compare approaches and measure whether the AI is actually working. Founders leave with a clear view of what to build, why, and how to staff it.
